About us

One type of pump, made for 22 years

HAESOL PUMP started in 2004 as a pump repair and assembly shop in Suwon. Since moving to Hwaseong in 2015 we have made only one product line, the HV series of vertical multistage pumps. Fourteen of our 32 staff work in machining, assembly and testing. Fictional company data

  • Machining and assembly in-houseShafts and impellers are machined, stacked and tested in our Hwaseong factory. Castings, motors and seals are bought in, and we say so.
  • Every pump is run before it shipsEach pump gets a performance and hydrostatic test, and the results go with it as a test certificate.
  • Spare parts for 7 years after a model endsSeals, impellers and bearings stay available for seven years after a model is discontinued. The serial number on the nameplate finds the right part.

HV series
6 sizes, 18 standard models

Sizes are set by rated flow, and each size comes with three stage counts to cover the head. Pumps of the same size share the body and pipe connections, so you can change the stage count without changing the pipework.

Where they are used

Suction and discharge sit in line, so the pump drops straight into the pipe run and takes little floor space. Most of our pumps go into building plant rooms and factory utilities.

An apartment complex in the evening

Building water boosting

Booster sets for apartments and offices. Head and flow come from building height and peak demand.

A cooling tower and two pumps on a building roof

Chilled and hot water loops

Cooling tower and boiler secondary circuits. Liquid temperature −15 to 120 °C.

A pump installed between a feed tank and a boiler in a boiler room

Boiler feed

From the feed tank to the boiler. With hot water we check suction conditions (NPSH) separately.

A pump on a stand next to a stainless steel washing line

Process water and washing

Factory washing lines and membrane filtration feed. Wetted parts in AISI 304, or 316L where needed.

Not forfire fighting (needs separately approved pumps), flammable liquids, sewage with solids, or direct transfer of food ingredients. If you are not sure, put the liquid and its temperature in your enquiry.

All photos are example images.

Machined, assembled,
run, then shipped

Every pump runs on the factory test bench before it leaves, and the results go with it as a test certificate. Witness tests can be booked one week ahead, in person or by live video.

  1. A stainless steel impeller held in a lathe chuck being machined
    1Machining

Impellers and shafts are CNC machined. Impeller diameter and shaft runout are measured on every part.

  2. Two gloved hands stacking an impeller and stage on a shaft jig
    2Assembly

Impellers and diffusers are stacked stage by stage, the shaft height is set and the cartridge seal goes in.

  3. A performance test bench with a pump connected to test piping and a flow meter
    3Testing

Flow, head and current are measured on the bench, and the pump is pressure-tested at 1.5 times its maximum working pressure.

Engineering tools for consultants, contractors and plant engineers. Open up the pump to follow the water and the seal replacement, or pick a model for your flow and head, at 50 or 60 Hz, in metric or US units. For preliminary selection only; our engineer confirms the final selection against your system.

How water goes in and out, and the order in which you open the pump to change the seal. The drawing is redrawn from the stage count, pipe size and motor size of the model you pick.

Key point: each stage adds a fixed amount of head, so stacking stages adds head. Steps and tools are in chapter 7 of the IOM manual.

    How we chose the pump
    for three sites

Instead of site names and savings claims, we show which conditions led to which model, and why. Fictional cases for this design example · not real sites

    Apartment complex booster set

    25 floors · 1,100 units · duty/standby

    Duty
    32 m³/h · 85 m
    Selected
    3 × HV 32-6 (2 duty, 1 standby), VFD

Night demand drops below a third of the daytime peak, so we chose VFD operation that slows the pumps down. The standby pump keeps water flowing during maintenance.

    Office tower cooling loop

Closed loop · rooftop cooling tower

    Duty
    60 m³/h · 25 m
    Selected
    2 × HV 64-2 (1 standby), VFD

The single-stage model falls short of head at 60 m³/h, so we went to two stages and trimmed the surplus head with speed. In a closed loop the required head drops together with the flow.

    Food plant washing line

    Wash water 60 °C · with detergent

    Duty
    8 m³/h · 45 m
    Selected
    HV 8-5 / L (AISI 316L), fixed speed

Because of the detergent, wetted parts were changed to 316L. The line always runs at the same flow, so a model close to its rated point runs at fixed speed.

Put these conditions into the model finder at 60 Hz and the same models come up. Photos are example images.

    Specifications and performance data

The model finder and the cross-section read these numbers directly. The full performance data is available as a CSV file.

Distributors wantedWe are looking for distributors who can hold stock and service pumps locally, especially in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Central Asia. Choose "Distributor enquiry" in the form below.

Lead time, warranty, service and quotation

Standard models are kept in stock. Changing stages, motor or material makes it an assembled model, and anything that needs drawing approval is a custom build. Lead times below are ex-works; FOB Busan adds about one week for export packing and documents.

    Warranty

12 months from installation or 18 months from shipment, whichever ends first. Not covered: operation outside the allowed range (including dry running), liquids not agreed in the order, and normal wear of seals and O-rings.

    Service abroad

Our distributors service pumps where we have one. Elsewhere we troubleshoot with you by video call in English and send parts by air courier. A recommended spare parts list comes with every order.

    Spare parts

Seals, impellers and bearings remain available for seven years after a model is discontinued. Send us the serial number from the nameplate and we find the right part.

Why prices are not on this page

The price of the same model changes a lot with material, motor, documents, quantity and delivery terms, so we quote in writing once we have your conditions.

    What affects the price

    1. Wetted parts material (S or L)
    2. Motor (supply, efficiency class, explosion protection)
    3. Quantity
    4. Witness testing beyond the test certificate
    5. Delivery terms (EXW, FOB or CIF) and lead time

    What makes the quotation faster

    • Application, liquid and temperature
    • Flow and head (or building height and peak demand)
    • Power supply (for example 400 V 3-phase 50 Hz)
    • Quantity, required date and destination port
    • For a replacement, a photo of the old pump's nameplate

    Frequently asked questions

What buyers and engineers abroad ask us most before they request a quotation.

Can you supply pumps for 50 Hz?

Yes. The data table is at 60 Hz (3,500 rpm). At 50 Hz the pump turns at about 2,900 rpm, so flow drops to about 83%, head to about 69% and shaft power to about 57%. Select 50 Hz in the model finder to see the converted curves, and we quote a 50 Hz motor as an assembled model.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No, standard models can be ordered one at a time. For distributor orders and projects we quote quantity prices.

Which documents come with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, certificate of origin, an English test certificate for every pump and the English IOM manual. Tell us early if your project needs other documents, such as material certificates.

Can we witness the performance test?

Yes, in person at the factory or by live video. Book one week ahead and we run the pump at the points you choose.

Why can the model finder differ from the real power use?

It uses the performance data at test conditions (clean water 20 °C, rated speed) and a simple system curve. In reality pipe losses, valve position, liquid temperature and motor efficiency change the result. Our engineer recalculates against your system before the final selection.

Can you replace a pump from another brand?

Send us a photo of the old pump's nameplate and the pipe size. We find a model that works at the same duty point, and if the connection height differs we give you the adapter dimensions.

How do we get spare parts quickly?

Order the recommended spare parts list with the pumps, and keep seal kits on site. Other parts are shipped by air courier.

Do your pumps have drinking-water approval or CE marking?

Requirements depend on the country and application, so we confirm them per model and destination at the quotation stage. Tell us where the pump will be installed and what it will pump.
