your clinic days out.

Pick a surgery and the day you land. Add your return flight if you have one. We count Sundays and Korean public holidays, when the clinic is closed.

Return flight

Typical schedule for planning. Your doctor confirms the real dates after the consultation.

    After you fly home

Typical recovery, not a promise. Do not book a non-refundable flight before the consultation. If you have a high fever, bleeding that will not stop, or one side suddenly swells, message us at any time.

      Each surgery: method, days,
      and what can go wrong

The main side effects are part of every table and are never folded away.

What we check first for eyes

How strongly you open your eyes (ptosis), brow height and any earlier surgery. These three can change the method even for the same double eyelid.

      Incisional double eyelid

A fine cut in the upper-lid skin creates the crease. Loose skin and fat are trimmed at the same time if needed.

      Fee
      KRW 1,500,000

      When it is considered

      • Thick lids or a lot of fat, where a stitch-only method tends to loosen
      • Loose skin that needs to be trimmed too
      • An earlier stitch-method crease that has come undone
      If a side effect happens
      • Swelling and bruising Almost everyone has them. Cold packs for the first 48 hours and a higher pillow at night.
      • Asymmetry or crease height We do not judge before 3 months because of swelling. If a clear difference remains at 6 months, we look at the cause and discuss correction.
      • Scar The line sits in the fold when your eyes are open. Redness can stay for 3–6 months.
      • Bleeding or infection Rare. If one side suddenly swells and hurts, message us right away.

      Under-eye fat repositioning

Through the inside of the lower lid, bulging fat is moved into the hollow below it. There is no cut on the skin.

      • Little loose skin
      If a side effect happens
      • Bruising Can last 1–2 weeks.
      • Swelling of the eye surface The white of the eye looks puffy and clear. Managed with eye drops and cold packs.

Typical recovery examples. Your own schedule and risks are explained by the doctor after the consultation and tests. Fees are examples.

      From the first message
      to the 6-month check

One doctor follows you from the consultation to the last photo check, whether you are in Seoul or back home.

      1. 1

Before you fly 2–4 weeks before

Send the pre-consultation message with three photos. A coordinator replies in your language within one clinic day with a fee range and the documents to bring. The final plan is made only after the doctor sees you.

      2. 2

        Day 1 · Consultation and tests 30 min + 40 min

The doctor examines you, explains the method, side effects and fee, and tells you when you could fly home. Blood test and ECG the same day, plus a facial CT for contour surgery. You do not have to decide that day.

      3. 3

Day 2 · Surgery 3–6 hours at the clinic

The doctor checks the design once more before anesthesia. An anesthesiologist stays with you. You go back to your hotel by taxi with a written aftercare sheet in your language.

      4. 4

Recovery days in Seoul Checks on the clinic days

First check the day after surgery, then stitch or splint removal. Between visits you can walk around, but no sauna, alcohol or long walks in the sun.

      5. 5

Fly home After the doctor's sign-off

On the last visit you get your surgery summary in your language and in English, the prescription with ingredient names, and a letter for a local doctor.

      6. 6

At home · 1, 3, 6 months Photo checks by message

Send photos from the same angles. The same doctor compares them with the ones taken before surgery and replies on a clinic day.

Cosmetic surgery in Korea includes 10% VAT, and the fees on this page already include it. The VAT refund for foreign cosmetic-surgery patients ended on 31 December 2025, so we do not count on a refund. If the rule comes back, we will explain it at the consultation.

      Paying

      • Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay and American Express
      • Alipay and WeChat Pay
      • Cash in Korean won

Converted with an example rate on 2026-11-01, not a live rate. You pay in Korean won; your card company sets the final amount. Example fees for a fictional clinic.

      Before you fly
      and after you land

Most problems show in the first days, while you are still in Seoul. These are the signs that need a message at any hour.

Message us now, even outside clinic hours

      • One side suddenly swells and hurts
      • A fever of 38 °C or more
      • Bleeding that does not stop after changing the gauze
      • Blurred vision or strong eye pain after eye surgery

In Seoul, call +82-2-000-0000 or the night number on your aftercare sheet. If you have trouble breathing, call 119 first. At home, go to a local emergency room and show them your surgery summary.

      4 weeks beforeStop smoking

Smoking slows wound healing, e-cigarettes too. Please tell us in your first message if stopping is hard.

      2 weeks beforeMedicine and supplements

Aspirin, blood thinners, ginkgo, omega-3 and vitamin E can increase bleeding. Send their names first; stop only after talking with the doctor who prescribed them.

      Day of surgery8 hours fasting

Nothing to eat or drink, including water, for 8 hours before sedation or general anesthesia. Remove lenses, make-up and gel nails. Do not drive; take a taxi.

On the flightKeep your head up

Drink water, avoid alcohol, keep your head raised when you sleep. After nose surgery, a blocked feeling on landing is common and usually passes within a day.

      Back homeExercise, lenses, glasses

Walking from 1 week, sweaty exercise from 4 weeks. No contact lenses for 2 weeks after eye surgery and no glasses resting on the nose for 4 weeks after rhinoplasty.

      The doctor you meet
      is the one who operates

Each doctor focuses on different areas. You can choose your doctor when you book, and that doctor reviews your photos up to the 6-month check.

Anesthesia is handled by a board-certified anesthesiologist.

      What happens
      inside the operating room

You cannot see it for yourself, so here is what is in place.

      • Anesthesiologist

For sedation and general anesthesia, an anesthesiologist stays with you from the start until you move to recovery, and checks fasting and medicine again before starting.

      • Operating room CCTV

For surgery under general anesthesia, where you are not conscious, we record the operation if you or your guardian ask. Videos are kept for at least 30 days under Korean medical law. Ask with one tick on the consent form.

      • Private recovery room

One patient per room. A nurse checks blood pressure and oxygen every 15 minutes, and you leave only when consciousness, pain and bleeding meet our criteria.

      • Emergency transfer

Defibrillator, oxygen and emergency drugs in every operating room, a transfer agreement with a nearby university hospital and emergency drills every 3 months.

      Questions from overseas patients

How long should I stay in Seoul?

It depends on the surgery: from about 5 nights for under-eye fat repositioning to about 12 for a facelift, if you land before 15:00 and the days are not holidays. The stay planner counts it with your own dates.

Can I have the consultation and surgery on the same day?

No. We keep at least one night between them so you can think it over and the test results come back. Surgery is the next clinic day at the earliest.

Do I need a special visa?

It depends on your nationality. Many visitors enter visa-free or with K-ETA. If you need a medical visa for a longer stay, we send an invitation letter after the consultation is booked.

Can I remove the stitches at home?

We plan your stay so stitches come out in Seoul. If you must leave earlier, the letter for your local doctor explains how to remove them, but we recommend staying.

      Is there a VAT refund?

Not at the moment. The refund for foreign cosmetic-surgery patients ended on 31 December 2025, and the fees on this page include VAT.

What if I am not happy with the result?

We do not judge before 3 months because of swelling. At 6 months the same doctor compares photos taken from the same angles. If a correction is needed, we explain how the cost is decided before anything else.

Will my travel insurance cover this?

Cosmetic surgery is usually not covered. Check with your insurer before you fly; we give you an itemised bill in English.

      Do you use agencies?

No. You talk to the clinic's own coordinators. We do not pay commissions for bringing patients, so the fee is the same however you contact us.

      Set the dates first.
      The consultation comes next.
